Did you even click it to see what it was? It's to see the records of other players and try to beat it.

i haven't clicked it because the game is downloading, but ive played the cracked version of this game

well demos are not available on all games, some demos are not like the game and they might be slightly different to the actual game

Well, on some piracy websites, they even tell you to buy the game to support the devs (if you like the game and all). Thing is, Steam will not appreciate if you openly admit to play a cracked game and it's against the rules. Sooo I'd watch my back if I was you.
