Bad games deserve to be preserved too
^ (Also I think Shadow isn't is bad as many people make it out to be, it's got flaws but it's still a good time)

In my opinion, I don't like how you have to waste your time getting 10 different endings for a last story to just say that none of that mattered.

All I know is that to experience all of the game, you have to replay every single level and go through every single path. All of that for the final story.

because its one of the many games that sega refuses give a modern way to play it, right alongside heroes and unleashed[xbox doesn't count]

The PS2 version of Heroes was re-released digitally on the PS3 store in Europe and Australia, and the PC version was re-released in 2009 as part of the Sonic PC Collection in Australia and New Zealand. This was the closest we ever got to getting any sort of re-release for Heroes.

Wow now THIS is an old discussion, i genuinely wonder if OP is still active and seeing their decade old post going.

Anyway, i doubt Sega wants to even remember these 2 games even existed, one is despised by fans just by existing and the other was a broken mess with some "questionable" writing and artstyle.

2006 could be fixed with mods, like that Project 06 is doing, but the Shadow game is so bankrupt in its writing and its gameplay, that you basically have to remake the entire thing from zero.

Even better, Sonic 2006 could easily get a remake for current gen systems if P-06 is anything to go by. I know the industry loves to remake/remaster good games as they're much more easily marketable and therefore are more likely to turn a profit which is why Colours and Generations have gotten this treatment instead, but I think remakes of bad games have even more potential as it means giving games that didn't work out the first time be given a second chance to correct their mistakes and provide the definitive experience not possible with the original game. :terraria:

What they should do is release it and call it Sonic Adventure 3 with no explanation. Because it really it SA3. The guerrilla marketing would be great for all the sites and forums having a meltdown over just calling 06 SA3 as if they could trick people.

Shadow The Hedgehog is a decent game. It just had flaws, and I'm not talking about the story. Story shouldn't matter in a Sonic game. A re-release could improve the game greatly.

Story being terrible is one of the main complains in the past decade or so you know?

While it largely started with Colors, the Shadow game was no exception, specially cause its the main culprit of Shadow's terrible characterization in future installments.

neither should characters or lore then
Sonic Was always about gameplay before Adventure 1.
