Yes, iirc it's unlocked after beating all of the levels. You might be able to just brute force it early with some HMM codes but I personally haven't tried doing that myself.

So I just need to clear the levels to play as super sonic? That's good. I'm also using the unleashed complete addon mod.

Was about to drop it if I couldn't play as super sonic. Literally a major reason why i like sonic games Haha.


I wonder if the real shadow mod would also work

haven't tried it personally but from what I believe I heard once that character swapping mods typically aren't compatible with the Unleashed Project, but don't quote me on that

well at least i can play as super sonic. ill have to beat the levels first then get back to you
