Will this game run ok on this PC?
I did try the demo, and it ocassionally lagged, but a lower resolution solved that. But I'm wondering for other levels, will it run ok? I am planning to get this, I'd also like to know if controller support will work and if Unleashed Project will run fine...
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit SP1
CPU: Intel Core i3 2350M @ 2.30GHz
RAM: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard: Type2 - Board Vendor Name1 Type2 - Board Product Name1 (U3E1)

Replies would be appreciated.

I'm going to assume your desktop uses Intel 3000 or 4000 series graphics.

The game will run OKAY on your computer at a solid 30 FPS. It's STILL very enjoyable. You'll probaly get used to the framerate.

Check out BlackLionPT thread on how to make your game run better and nicer and still manage to hold a solid 30.

Dual core with a HD 3000. It will not run very well.

Here are 2 similar laptops running this game to give you an idea:

You are better off playing it on a console if you can.

Definately not as laggy as that, it's only when I go through rainbow hoops. Rest is absolutely fine. I'm getting this mainly just for mods, and I do have the PS3 version. That's at full resolution, and it works almost flawlessly on a lower res, in fact I was simply asking if any level would run significantly slower than Green Hill Zone, that's all. My specs are also a lot better than both videos. 8GB RAM, not 2.

Nevermind saw in that thread that 30FPS is the speed the PS3 version runs. I'll aim for 30-40FPS. Thanks for the help! What mods do you recommend/would run fine with this computer?

The Unleashed Project. basically its a port of all the daytime stages of Sonic Unleashed, and while i havent played or tried it for myself, you can find playthroughs on Youtube and it looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing

At which resolution?

1600x900 full screen. Windowed mode doesn't work for a reason or another.

Demo works with ocassional minor lagging at 1280x600. Once I optimize it I'll be able to stream it.

According to Intel, you have just... Intel Graphics HD without any numbers. Honestly, with that kind of setup, I want to say you can't run the game. I doubt even locking the framerate to 30FPS would help. You would be playing it at the lowest resolution on full screen with constant stuttering. It's just not worth it.

That is a very, very weak PC. You are better off getting it for a console, as if even if it runs by some miracle on your potato, it will be on the lowest resolution with sub 20 fpss, maybe sub 10 fps. But most likely it wont even run.
