Mega Drive/Genesis controller?
Apparently you can buy the Mega Drive/Genesis controller in this game for about 7777 points which can then be used on the Genesis console above the entrance to Green Hill. Doing this would allow you to play the very first Sonic game released for the system. However, the PC port seems to lack such feature for some reason...

That's right...the PC version doesn't have that. It may technicly still be possible to mod it into the game but no one with the technical "know-how" seems to bother with it.

Yeah, they took it out of the PC version.

For good reason: Why would you spend $5 to buy it on Steam, if you get it free with Sonic Generations?
(Probably why they also dummied out the Sonic (and Tails) Game Gear games in Sonic Adventure DX on Steam)

It would make sense if they would offer the game gear games on steam.

What would of been cool is if they included an Xbox 360 and Wii controller instead, and this would allow you to play Sonic Unleashed or Colours. But, I doubt that'd happen so why not the Sega Master System version of Sonic The Hedgehog instead?

Well, you can play Sonic Colors using the Dolphin Emulator. The game seems to run rather well on Dolphin.

They got rid of it for the way the game might've played and maybe because they already released it as a classic on Steam. Sorry, it could be possible with a mod, but it dosen't matter

But that involves me actually jailbreaking my Wii, doesn't it? Like, I need to own the Wii and the Wii game to play the games on the emulator, and the only reason I'd emulate a game is because I don't own it and want to play it.

The point of an emulator is that you don't have to own the console XD
Technicly you could download the ROMs for the games online but I don't think that it really legal (doesn't seem like anyone seems to care). I myself mostly used my CD of the games to make ROMs out of them.
