Sonic slides to the left everytime I moved

Hello, I don't know if this has been answer already but every time I moved with Sonic, he slides/dash to the left and I can't progress too much in the game. When I start boosting or generally moving, he would automatically slide to left or dash to the left. I would like to know if this is a known game bug or is it a computer problem?

Are you using a controller or mouse and keyboard?

This is due to controllers that are programmed as Y-Input, used in most custom controllers, conflicting with the game's programming, since it's made for X-Input, primarily official Microsoft controllers (like the wired 360 controller I use). You'd either have to buy a Microsoft controller, or use a controller emulator like x360ce (https://github.com/x360ce/x360ce) to emulate X-Input.
