Sonic Generations 3DS mods?

I wonder if there are mods that basically lets you play levels from the 3DS version of the game. As someone who doesn't own a 3DS, this would be really awesome indeed...

No hacking has been done to the game, going by the lack of any mention at the local places like Sonic Retro, so I imagine nobody's bothered with trying to crack it's file formats or extract anything beyond the music.

You're not missing out on anything, really. 3/16 of the stages are just the original levels from Sonic 1 to 3, Tropical Resort requires the Burst Wisp and Lazer Wisp that aren't in Generations...

There are no compleate level mods from the 3DS version as far as i know.

I think the Cassic Sonic Wave Ocean mod in Sonic Adventure Generations takes some inspiration from the 3DS version.

Sonic generations for the 3ds is quite boring. especially in levels that were originally 3d, and you play as modern sonic, with all your levels as 2d ones. No 3d levels, making it an underwhelming game. That cancelled 3d sonic game for the ds could have amazing if it was completed and published, and would have made 3d levels possible, in the long run.

Well, it certainly would be cool to get the chance to try out the levels at least...
