I didn't know you can get characters in unreal 4? Does anyone know how to do it...

Well, for that you don't really need "unreal Engine 4". I mean... This is hard to explain... My knowledge about 3D assets is very limited.

Anyway i'll try to explain: First you need find/create the 3D model, Create the bones, create the base movements (ie run, idle, walk, jump), after it create the logic behind the movements (ie you need be idle, after it walk and then run depend your velocity). And ofc all the programming to do it works (move order, jump order, etc).

What about porting Sonic Generations from Hedgehog Engine into Unreal Engine 4?
Perhaps he replicated gameplay from Sonic Colors in Sonic Dash Engine Framework.
Why the hell UE tech demo makes everything glowy? Also this is the same thing like in that "Nintendo hire this man" video...

I don't know why. I once fixed controlling Classic Sonic in that Dash Framework,but with little help. Unfortunetely I didn't know and I still don't know how to fix spindash. In Unreal Engine 4 and Blender Classic Sonic assets were imported with multiple mouth 3D layers that ones from Sonic Generations. To be honest I found out that some youtube tutorials of fisheye lens are quite problematic if there are lack of some blueprints or specific label options in Unreal Editor 4. Soon there will be Unreal Engine 5. I broke this framework once. Now once again I have broken Classic Sonic movement. What I like in Sonic Generations Havok Engine and Hedgehog Engine 1 are that Classic Sonic is moving smoothly,he's looking cuter than in Sonic Dash Framework UE4. It was very difficult to me to import 3D Classic Sonic gameplay. Thank goodness on Dash Engine HUB discord server had lots of patience to help me out achieve my goals.
I shouldn't have install in plugins something similar to custom directional gravity in ue4. I should have do it manually. As for modding Sonic Generations I think it's little bit more difficult than in ue4. In UE4 I can make new for instance Classic Sonic levels. I guess making Sonic Generations UE4 port conversion from Hedgehog Engine 1 to Unreal Engine 4 will be very difficult and time consuming.
