remember when we got sonic games like adventure, heroes, and riders? good times . now only mario is allowed to get completely new games with different play styles and gameplay , smh
real
Although light on story and tone, it also means the gameplay itself gets more time to shine with minimal bloat holding it back and a lot of creative level ideas. We don't see spooky or haunted mansion themed levels often in Sonic games, but Hang Castle is one of the very few among this series. It's also a fully 3D Sonic game with zero 2D whatsoever, which is an added bonus.
Yes, I know I had nostalgia for it as Heroes was one of (if not) my first Sonic games, but that alone doesn't make the game good. There are plenty of games I'm nostalgic towards but are not nearly as good as I remember; Heroes is not one of them.
I wonder how much content Shadow is really getting. It feels like it could be just a handful of levels, some cutscenes and nothing close to a full adventure.
you’re absolutely right
