Will I be able to have my pro controller connect to Steam and play Sonic Generations with it? Does a SCUF Envision Pro work as well?

Yes you can play Sonic Generations with a Switch Pro Controller

There's a default layout for Switch Pro controllers but I found that it lacks trigger controls, so I picked a community-made layout (which you can find in the Steam controller settings for the game)
