lmao, theres deadass not a single copycat boost game that matches the quality of this level singlehandedly. this is peak boost design. everything was made perfectly - the length, the variety, the music, sense of speed, atmosphere and level design, the 2D was done right and doesn't feel like a forced pitstop or take up half the level or more.
you gotta be one ungrateful hater that ironically likes to settle for less if you call this "poor level design" . im curious how long it even took the devs to craft something so perfect like this. had to take months

That said, the lack of a native PC port for Unleashed is definitely a huge missed opportunity.
i prefer a port over a remaster, i think you took my comment out of context. a remaster would just change the game
Every single time they want more money, they start feening, and unfortunately the Sonic team's rushed to make the game by the end of the deadline. This time it's not really any different, except that they are once again going to make a terrible attempt at remastering a game that's good all on its own. I don't care if we lose years of modding, unless if they're really the brutes we think they are and permanately delete generations instead of forcing a simple delistment.
Thing of it this way:
Sega wants money. They don't have the time or energy.
They look to the past and see a miracle of God that they created.
It doesn't have any new modern console or Pc ports, so they once again begin the process of showing that fans are idiots, appreciating something they made only for marketing purposes. Honestly, if Mario wasn't a thing, Sonic wouldn't be on either. Then there'd only be Pokemon, which is fine by me, given the circumstances.
They begin to dwindle down all our hopes, and in an instant they're "Cooking up" quite a suprise.
They plan on remarketing a game, and it turns out as bad as Colors Ultimate and Origins.
I have no problem with Colors Ultimate, it runs excellently on the switch. I don't own Origins, so trust me to keep my mouth shut about that.
Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that Sega's built up of pompous fools and arrogant tryhards that excel in marketing by selling their products to children, and so they use endearing characters they know we love, but put up a bill, accept tax's, and offer it for a price that it shouldn't really be.
They're being unreasonably stupid, but I love Sonic. Let's hope they learn their lessons. But knowing them, and their rivals like Nintendo and Atari, they'll do anything, even risk bankruptcy just to get cash in their hands.
Rest in peace Sonic. World-wide global warming is the least of their concerns, so while we suffocate in pollution they'll breath trees.
yours too then
rather a port than a remaster , they’re just gonna downgrade it and make bad changes to it. it’s basically gonna be like that generations mod .
