It was just lazyness on SEGAs part that they didn't want to hire a voice actor for the main character. Even so, It's fun to speculate what it would've been like had SEGA actually attempted some sort of voice acting.
If they do that, they kill the series
Those two sonic and tails' were going to bump into each other it was inevitable, but sonic just using his head to smash up robotniks machines all the time and just well, being sonic, to tails being an absolute geek with creating all of his little inventions, one of them had to talk yes, but, it was a better decision to get tails to talk than sonic
It is a very dangerous game getting a voice actor in for a classic hero (already, i have given my opinion on tails)
What way do you go, a lighter softer version of the current voice actor, a whole rework with a childish version of his voice
it wouldve upset a lot of fans if they had put a voice on
