Missing MSVCP100.dll and MSVCR100.dll. Am furious!
I feel like I just threw 30 dollars into my toilet. Have tried everything and cannot get this darn piece of software to run. Wth sonic team?

Didn't have this issue, but you can download these files on the web easely, put them in the game its folder and it should work. You might have these 2 files already in another game its folder also, have a look :o Just copy them in that case.

Where should I put the files? At the root of the generations folder?

You could try to put them in your System32 folder or SysWOW64 folder (depening on if you are using a 32bit or 64bit computer). That might save future errors if other games are missing these files either.

If this doesn't work, I think the usual folder to put them is in the same folder as the game its .exe file.

Most likely by putting msvcp100.dll in the Sonic Generations folder. That's what I did to fix the problem when I had it.

(I just happened to have a copy of that dll in another game, so I used it. Like they said above, you might have a copy of it in another game. And if not, it can be found online easily.)
