I can’t move in 2D?????
My buddy just got a new pc and we got the game, set it all up with keyboard and a controller, and the game works fine on the title screen, but when we get to the hub world we can’t move. Sonic just like, twitches. We figured “okay well I can still boost and slide and all that, and once I get a bit of momentum I can move again so I can get to a stage at least.” But the issue still happens in stages as well, we lose all basic manual movement control in 2d sections. Does anyone have a fix for this?????

unfortunately i dont see how this would help because it's not a controller issue, playing on keyboard does the exact same thing. i hold left or right but sonic just doesn't move. he tries to, because i see him shimmy, but i can't move unless i already had momentum to begin with.

UPDATE I SOLVED THE NONSENSE
so apparently forcing the game to run at a framerate any higher than 75 causes the game to not read inputs correctly.
if you're using HedgeModManager, dont use any forced framerate above 75.

Jesus. Thank you for this, it was driving me insane! Was about to start disabling mods one by one but decided to search it first.
