Controls Stop working

[Dark Souls II: SotFS]

I'm playing the game, having a good time for like 10 minutes, then for some reason My controller stops working and i can't move

I have no idea why and could really use some help here.

If the controller is bluetooth connected, try playing wired. Otherwise, try opening the launcher and resetting control settings.

I've had this happen 3~4 times recently over 15h~ playtime and found no permanent fix. Having the issue after 10min playtime sounds rough.

OK just purchased this game - using a wired XBox360 controller...and as sliveriscardboard mentioned, the controller will stop working after about 5 / 10 minutes.

Some things to note on my setup: I have 2 controllers (Steam controller and 360). Also running across Steam Link... so any one of these could be causing an issue?

I had this exact problem, and I solved it by right-clicking the game on Steam and going into Properties -> Controller Settings -> and turn off Steam Input. much less interference that way.

Thanks - tried this and it didn't seem to work for me. Glad you managed to solve it at your end though.

OK finally found a fix that makes sense. In short, you use the "XBox Controller Fixed!" Steam configuration, and then setup Sonic to use keyboard input (not controller). Follow the guide at:
