I can't drft.

When I press the right trigger to drft, Sonic just does the small hop that starts the drift, but doesn't drift after that. I didn't change anything so why is this happeneing?

Yes I know, I've been playing this game since 2013. It started doing this today. (also sorry if that sounded rude, I didn't mean for it to sound that way)

You'd need to run nearly at full speed. And then hold either left or right on the analog stick (up and down won't work) to drift.

Thanks but I fixed it, It was a but more complicated, I just forgot to update this.

Oh, what exactly was the problem then? I'm asking just so others would know the solution if they'd have the same problem and stumble upon this thread. ^^'

I had to download a program called x360ce, configure my controls. Then, I downloaded a .bat file called Sonic Generations Input Not Saving.bat. Then configured the controls in the Sonic Generations Configuation prgram. It was really weird but whatever works I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
