Sonic unleashed PC steam port

Sonic unleashed was released on 2008. It's graphics we're waaaaayy ahead of its time. By far this game has the best story out of all the sonic games. I would really like to play this game at 60fps. I mean this game deserves to played at 60fps.... When will sega ever port this game to PC? They know that PC (as far as i know) is the only platform till now where we can get 60fps...
They even ported a personna 5 vita game to pc but they did not consider their main mascots game? I know that they are preparing for sonic's big 30th anniversary game and it has been 2 years now. I know this game will be a very good game. But.....I hate to do this but i have to. Comparing mario to sonic, Nintendo told once that they can't show the new zelda game gameplay or screenshots for the moment. But they ported a wii zelda game to switch that was liked by zelda fans.
Similarly why can't sega port unleashed or colors for the moment while we wait for the new game? I really want to play unleashed on 60fps. The PS3 version sucks and xbox version is capped at 30fps... PLEASE SEGA PORT UNLEASHED TO PC!!!!! If possible colors too.

Even the creators of the mod admit that it's no substitute for the original game.

For me, after playing through (without finishing) Colours even when it was new, I just wanted to go back to all the other Sonic games I had on my PS2 instead, such as Heroes, Mega Collection Plus and Unleashed. I felt that way even back at the time, and I feel no different about it today.

Well, about that. Forces may have the best graphics out of any Sonic game, but Unleashed still looks way better due to the much better lighting, visual effects and overall presentation. Whereas Forces is one of the worst looking games in the series due to its lackluster presentation all around.

As a side note, I still prefer the story in the Adventure games, but Unleashed definitely had the most immersive story out of them all.

It also has one of the most beautiful and interactive hub worlds in any game. I know 80% of sonic fans don't like the werehog. 10% of them feel it is bearable or OK. 10% of them love it's gameplay. I am one of those people who consider its gameplay ok. I just think of it's gameplay as a combination of sonic, tails and knuckles. Sonic because it is sonic himself. Tails because of the platforming. Knuckles because of the combat. And don't you think this game had the best final boss fight out of all the games? Come on..... You are just one of those guys who think that only day stages of these games are great...... Come out of it... Many fans are liking sonic unleashed now. At that time, it was slammed hard. It received bad reviews only because of werehog. It is like, if you just made one silly and obvious mistake in an exam and everyone laughs at you because of that silly mistake and you feel bad about it even though you secured the top marks in the exam. Since we had no sonic games for a long time..... Many fans are revisiting the old sonic games. I am not forcing you to like it. Even I don't like it, but if you think of it this way, then you may find it bearable and ok. Anyway, I am NOT FORCING YOU TO LIKE THE GAME. Just don't say that day time stages are the only good part of the game. I feel bad for the game when you say that. Even I did not like unleashed when I played the wii version first time. Modern sonic was not so great as sonic colors or generations and the werehog levels were just so looong and awful. I felt toooo booored that I just went back replaying sonic generations. But after I completed sonic generations, I went back to see sonic unleashed. I wanted know why the game was boring. But afterwards, as I just played through the game, it felt as if I was going on an adventure along with sonic. And boy was I overjoyed when I saw that there was another version of sonic unleashed. HD version is 100 times better than the SD version. But it has severe frame drops. That's because of its awesomeness..... Therefore, I am asking this game to be ported in modern hardware and PC. So we can play this game in 60fps and glorious 4k. Man, this game's CGI will still be the best looking till now.....

But don't you think sonic unleashed deserves a port more? I mean, sega spent so much for the game.......but it is hated just because of the werehog...... Both the console systems have slowdowns. I know Xbox one X can handle this game with negligible frame drops but that Is still 30...... I would love to see sonic unleashed in 60fps......

Is it not true that there are too many 2d sections? Dont get Me wrong. I like sonic colors too. The great soundtrack, a decent level design that is better than forces by a mile, the wisps are all perfectly fine to me. But the 2d sections just don't feel right. Unleashed gave sonic the same speed when he was in 2d. In generations, his speed was a bit increased from colors. But in colors, sonic felt slow paced especially in 2d. Sonic games do not have a decent story nowadays. Adventure games had good stories. Even unleashed had a good story despite certain moments. They are just another part of the game that makes the games good. I agree, stories are not a point of a good game. Generations did not have a good story but had awesome gameplay and controls. But you know, stories also make the game more better. As for the final part, why do you think unleashed does not deserve a port at all?

Man, the sonic fanbase is literally split into many parts...... Some say forces was bad, some say it was good. Some say lost world was decent, some say it is bad. Some say colors is overrated, some say it is decent, some say it is the best. Some say unleashed is the best, some say unleashed is worst next to 06. I really hope sega does something with the 30th anniversary to unite all sonic fans....

I agree. Though they don't ruin the game badly and all. They just make the game much more interactive and nice
