HedgeModManager can't install mods for Generations

Let's say i want to install a simple mod. I installed 7-Zip beforehand and i am required to drop a .rar file in the mod loader.
However, when i do that, the app says next:

"Failed to install mods using 7-Zip or WinRAR! Make sure you have either one installed on your system."

Tried reinstalling 7-Zip and it didn't work. Pasting alreay unpacked mod folder inside the "mods" folder also doesn't work. The mod just fails to work and nothing changes.

How do i fix this?

You can try to install the mods manually by extracting the mod and putting it in the mods folder.

I pointed this out in my discussion. That didn't work as well

Does the mod show up in the mod list? If so then you probably installed it correctly.

It shows up, but the "Supports Saves" and "Updates" sections are all False

I have a similar problem - I have the Unleashed Project mod and am attempting to extract it with 7-zip, although it just says it can't open it because it's an archive, please may we both have some help?

I have a similar problem I downloaded the "Planet Wisp All in One mode", used the hedgemodmanager, everything seems to be set correctly, but nothing happens
