Sonic Riders PC CD Steam Port ???

sonic riders as a PC CD steam port is really easy and fast

Not if it was made for pre-Windows 7, it isn't.

Windows has changed so much that older software frequently doesn't work right anymore.
So, it's not just a case of "Give Steam the CD, and bam, instant game for sale"
Even the actual CD version of heroes requires a few mods and hacks, just to get the thing to work in the first place.

It might be so complicated that it would be eaiser to remake it from scratch.
And that would take a long, long while. ...For minimal return, as they can't guaranteee sales.

widescreen fix and and no cd requirement then the game works on steam

You didn't read his comment. He said it would take a long time to even get the game working on Steam and that it would be better off been remade, but I doubt they would do this. Having a widescreen fix is not as easy as 1,2,3 bam. You're better off getting the retail copy of Sonic Riders which you can get for cheap at a local game stop store.

i have Sonic Riders for pc cd with widescreen fix, but I would be happy to play it in steam
