Verify games cache.
Check to see if your graphic card is up to date with its drivers.
Check to see if you have a mod installed that's causing the game to crash.
Upgrade your graphics card if it's old and or other parts in your pc that are causing issues.
Trun off in game overlay in your graphic card settings.
Clean out your recycle bin on your desktop
Clean out temporary files that your operating system no longer uses that can clog up your machine
These are the only tips I can provide you with please note that cleaning out your temporary files shouldn't cause any issues on your windows machine. These files are old files that your operating system dosnt need anymore so they are safe to delete however please note that when deleting these files there are still some files that your operating system is still using so if it says skip or delete click skip multiple times. The system is letting you know that there still files in there being used once your done cliking skip you should be left with 5 or less files in there just depends on how many your operating system is using at the time. Please note that I've deleted a ton of temporary files from my windows machine multiple times and all it does for me is it provides me with space on my disk and the operating system moves faster from my experience. Note that I'm not responsible if you accidentally click delete when the pc prompts you with the delete or skip option aging make sure you click skip not delete when the pop up message asks you.
I hope these solutions can solve your issue although your issue sounds as if it's a graphic card issue to me.
To access your temporary files look it up on google there should be tons of YouTube tutorials
