FM12 suddenly not working. (Now Working) See Page 7

Just says updating executable then goes back to the play button. It was working yesterday! I have verified files and all the usual stuff! Anyone else have this problem?!

I installed the DX from the FM12 sub folder and then I ran FM12 editor and it said installing DX or something then exited FM Editor and launched FM12 and it loaded but took a bit longer than normal! This happened on both my Windows 10 PC and my Windows 11 laptop

Have the same problem here. Searching the whole internet for solutions, but none of them work for now. Hopefully this won't take forever. FM12 is the best game I've played so far in Steam.

Same issue here. FM 14 works but FM12 and FM13 both fail to start. Says "updating executable" for a bit and then reverts back. I am able to install both the FM12 Editor and Resource Archiver and I successfully installed directx from within the fm2012 folder but that has not helped. I tried launching FM12 from Steam and Windows Explorer.

I reinstalled DX but it didn't fix.

Hi guys I’m having same issue ,, horrendous literally bought new laptop to play fm12 ,,, u till it’s resolved I’ve decided to switch to fm14 but I can’t find the option to show player attributes does anyone know where it is on fm 14 ??

If the executable is updated it may start.

Mine is not working either on this or FM15 - Says 'updating excecutable' and then does nothing and doesnt launch. Any solutions appreciated please thankyou
