By the way, just out of curiosity, what Dreamcast adapter do you use? I was thinking about buying the Trio Linker II.
Or check out if the controller works with nullDC.
so yes i think with null dc its work, so i cant understand why its not work on steam... hey its a dreamcast game so why its not work with the fishing controller... SEGA and STEAM come on :)i
The bad news is, the rod movement in this PC port is hard-coded to be tied to the the analog stick on an Xbox controller, so you either still have to control the rod movement with the stick (recommended) or have a surgically steady hand for menu navigation by setting everything to your rod movement (more frustrating than it sounds). Same goes for casting. It's a compromise for sure but it's still a lot more fun with the actual fishing controller, despite the port's limitations.
Note: To configure "fast reel" input you just have to first assign left trigger with a slow/normal turn of the reel, then select right trigger in config and crank the reel as fast as you can until it the input assigns (the way the reel input works is via the z-axis but when you max the axis out it triggers a secondary input).
Really reaching into the grave with this reply but what did you use to map the reel?
