anyway to force 144hz?
i believe this game would feel amazing, but probably impossible no?

Just use the configurator to use any Hz resolution. I use at 240Hz.

doesn't work, it will let me select it, but i always end up with 60 fps no matter the configuration

Yes, but you are running 60fps at 144Hz (less stutter and less input lag than 60Hz). It's not a problem unless your monitor don't has VRR (FreeSync / G-Sync). 60fps lock in this game is due to engine limitation.
