Crazy Drift
Arrgg!!!!!!

I have never in my life had so much trouble with controls in a game.

I've managed to do what I think is a drift by brake, reverse, forward, turn, but no matter what I try (search from Internet/Steam, using tips in game or the manual that came with the game), I can not get a single combo in 2-1.

I am using the keyboard, arrow keys for gas/brake/turn and s/d for drive/reverse.

HELP!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!

What you have to do is:
- Accelerate
- Brake
- Move gear to R, then to D
- Turn the wheel to either side, hard

Once you start skidding, just move to the other side to do some sort of inertia drift. By doing consecutive drifts, you start to build a combo.

Do you keep holding any of those before pressing the next? Example, do you hold the brake while changing to R and back to D???

You can hold the brake, but depending on your speed, the car will stop before you can complete a drift. Just don't release the accelerator.

I tried and tried, and then all of a sudden it did 6 combos on the grass, but was not able to repeat a single one since. I've tried holding the accelarator down at all times, the press brake, R, D, and turn, tried brake and turn then R and D, tried turning and brake and then R and D.
Nothing works!!! Can you by any chance be extremely specific?

In all versions I played of Crazy Taxi (GameCube via Dolphin, Crazy Taxi 3 (PC), and the regular PC version of Crazy Taxi), you drift by steering left and right while holding both gear buttons down. I, for a very long time, also didn't know how to drift, but maybe a month or so ago, I found out. Hope this helps!

+1 Mangonie.

Also look up the analog control fix on the boards. Makes the controls work like they are supposed to. Whch means you can pull off crazy moves easier and not at random.

I'm using this method, you don't even have to break at all. Pick up speed - quickly switch from reverse to break while turning - don't let go of the 'drive' button. It seems that holding down the drive button is the key.
