Want to do some Crazy Taxi Drivin', but don't want garbage soundtracks and sub-par voice acting to get in the way?

I've created a guide that'll help remedy that, and has a bit of bonus content for Dreamcast players!

Is it possible that you can fix the issue with the main menu music and the credits music playing both at the same time while you're watching the credits?

Hm. That's an odd one. I didn't experience that in my playthroughs, but I'll check into it.

You're welcome, Doritos! Dang, now I'm craving a bag of crispy-chips, ah well.

Also, an update for Zeroxel on the Menu Music playing while watching the Credits:

That does tend to happen, and I'm not sure exactly HOW to fix it.
But, if you're a Crazy enough cabbie to get a high score in the normal gameplay modes...
You'll be greeted with the credit music as intended! Still a jam as planned! Enjoy!

I have a question: Is there a way to mod in the original licensed stuff like KFC and Levi's?
VoxelVarmint Sep 21, 2017 @ 7:18am
Unfortunately, @asmcint, no. Or at least not one I or anyone else has figured out yet.
I have found the files for the textures are overridden with things in what is called a .JPK file.
Only problem is that those.. those are hard to rip and/or repack at this time.
Hopefully someone can remedy that with at least some sort of extractor/packer someday.
I'm just as hopeful as you that something can be done to add them back properly, too.

Damn. So I'm guessing this doesn't use the same files as the original PC port, and therefore the files from those can't just be copied straight? Either way still gonna buy this next month probably. I have very fond memories both of watching my dad play the arcade version when I was very tiny, and of playing a PC version(not sure if it was the original port or a very weird standalone emulator deal. It was acquired through filesharing and ran flawlessly on my dinky little Pentium 3 box though.) It'll be good to relive that insanity.
