In some ways, I actually enjoyed the Allegiance version more than the Steel and Statecraft version, and had several campaigns going on the former.
I liked how in the older version the unit roster amounts were chance-to-spawn, and many buildings didn't give Food bonuses. The characters used to develop traits for Estate possesssion too, like wanting to have more Estates than any lower ranked noble, for example.
Don't get me wrong, I think the final, current build of the game is great; but the older version was more challenging, in some ways.
As for Achievements, I'm not sure how Achievment hunters are going to resolve this.
I just want to get that freaking achievement lol, I know it's not the end of the world, but I find it twisted that a developer would make an achievement unobtainable and not care about it
