Politics and intrigue

In the vidieo tutorial you can access in the game there is a video showing how to manipulate influence assassinate characters etc. by clicking on the family tree and politics button. But in my game that button just says family tree with no politics and does not lead to the screen shown in the video. How do I access politics?

I hadn't noticed before but yeah, the politics options seem to have been removed from the family tree screen as far as I can tell. Is this an allegiance update thing?

If you go on the factions button it brings up the family tree, and at the bottom is all the people in court seperated by their job ie, Governor, General. When you click on someone, their portrait will appear on the top left, and under that it has the lower influence, assassinate all all that stuff, next to where it says their inlfuence and age. The buttons are actually quite small tbh.

They might be greyed out though if you dont have any money, as they cost money to use.

Thanks yeah, the options are there but they have been rearranged and are no longer in a block all together where they originally were.
