Yeah I've thought about the food too. Maybe 7 per unit.
5 units = 35 food
vs
4 units = 40 food
I am trying the campaign > handicap table > and checking "Human" on the unit_food_upkeep and changed it from 0 to -100. I'm unsure how big of a change that would be but I'm trying to completely remove food upkeep per unit (for now), and I'm trying to keep it player only.
I wasn't able to find a food upkeep for units in the master_unit_table, as I could only find a gold upkeep. So it left me with testing what this handicap does in game since I've never modded a TW game before, and it left me with wondering if there was a way to raise the base food to the player faction to something really high like 500.
basically a cheat though right?
It is basically a cheat, later on I'm sure I'd prefer a 75% less upkeep, but as of right now - this is all that I wanted... along with 12tpy, strange's skills mod, and more govenors (although I think unlimited govenors is too much).
