It basically just changes some of the spellings to modern Welsh. The current Wels in-game is supposed to be old Welsh yet most the spellings I can find no information on.

Cymru am byth!

Yeah, sources are a bit thin on the ground for written Welsh, what there is that's even close to the period is not all that close and was written by other people, further the concept of "correct spelling" is not a thing there is any evidence for at this time.

If you're interested try the closest written Welsh sources you can get - the Black Book of Carmarthen will yield some of what you see in this game IIRC (and even that features deviating spellings of Gwynedd).

Good work getting a mod out there for this game by the way :) have an excellent day sir (if you are a sir).

Thanks. I don't really have any sources on old Welsh but I'll definitely look it up sometime. I mostly made this mod as I saw several people mentioning the spellings and saying they'd prefer them to be the more common spelling of today. Being form Anglesey myself and so within the Gwynedd area, it just felt strange seeing it as Gwined in-game.

Once the tools are released I'll be working on a much more ambitious mod, I just can't do 90% of the work without the official tools unfortunately. Even after spending all day decoding the remaining schemas for PFM -_- haha
