Many ways to expand, and easy to dominate Ireland when you defeat Mide.
I went in hard with axe infantry, only to find them almost slaughtered by the irish javelins.....
I really had to turn my strategy around.
Now, owning all of Ireland - I raid the the whole Wessex coast and never worrying about money again
That sounds awesome. What did you run instead of axes to deal with the javelins?
Get 3-4 units or archers and just mow them down :)
Nice. I'll make a mental note of that...and probably forget it right away, then go on to complain about irish javelins.
Yeah, I was imagining that Wessex would bring the pain. Have you reached the end tier cav yet? I thought it said they were supposed to have some serious power.
I picked the same faction and for the same reasons. Their archers are fantastic.
I'm trying Dyflin right now, myself. I can't wait to unlock some of the higher tier melee units. Let me know how Circenn is, I've been interested in trying that one for it's cool starting position and different feel.
