Input not supported

Hi. Can anyone help please? When I launch the game I soon get a black screen and a floating "Input not supported" message and this effectively freezes or crashes my machine. I've updated my driver and this hasn't resolved the problem. I have an Nvidia G-Force GTX 660 graphics card and an ACER monitor which is connected to the PC via VGA. My native screen resolution is 1024 x 768 and the refresh rate is set at 60hz as default. Can anyone suggest any way to resolve my "input not supported" problem please? I remember having the same issue with Attila and can't remember how I got round it. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi. I had the same problem. The following worked for me:
1) Launch the game normally. You might hear the soundtrack playing but there's no picture
2) While in the "input not support"-screen disconnect and reconnect your monitors signal cord.
3) In my case this enabled my monitor to display a slightly skewed image. Cursor was a bit off but I managed to navigate to the graphics menu and change the resolution manually.
4) Save, exit game, and try to restart.
5) Report back if this worked for you
