The game does not start
When you press the start button for 1-2 seconds there is a window of preparation for the start and then disappears. That's it. No more messages, just nothing.
Who faced? What to do?
The computer meets the minimum requirements 100%.

Does everyone who have this problem - use Nvidia?
Tried both using the R2 launcher and your dropbox one Cthulu but each time while it lets me boot the launcher, there's no option for ToB in it.

Yes, that is the same error message I was receiving. Delete the “platforms” folder in the “launcher” folder and it should work :)

Thank you Thu Ctulhu for your help. I have the same problem. But in the new folder "Laucher" of TW Britania (that I copy in Rome 2), I don't have the "platforms" folder. Then, what i can do ? (Je suis français, sorry for my english)

Open steam
Right click thrones of britannia
Go into properties
Local Files
Browse Local Files
Launch
then download these two files

https://www.dllme.com/dll/files/msvcr120_dll.html
https://www.dllme.com/dll/files/msvcp120_dll.html

put them in the launcher files
then launch the game. I had tried everything, this was my only solution.

Not for me.
Tried everything excepting new W10 install...

Worked for me, you have to take the msvcp120_dll out of the file and put it directly into launcher

I still get the same problem unless i try from the launcher file. Then i get ''The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).''

Is it normal that launcher says:" Your driver could be obsolete. Check the updates"?
Frank Scalise May 4, 2018 @ 12:36pm
I tried all of the 'easy' fixes (short of complete W10 reinstall) listed here, including deleting and reinstalling ToB. Know what worked? Signing out of Windows and signing back in.

I'm sure it won't work for everyone, but if it helps even one person...
