i think as long as u make ur resolution as 1080p and set everything on low. should run perfectly.
Me also, and Warhammer ran better than Atilla for me until it got borked a number months ago. WH2 is running better for most people than WH1 also.
We're hitting a cap in what is physically possible with hardware, so optomization is one of the few ways left to speed things up in the current state of technology. I'm hoping for some smooth battles.
SPECS:
GTX 1080
I7 4790K @4,7GHZ
16GB DDR 4 RAM
Yep.
The benchmark tool in Thrones has a big siege battle...
However, since the warhammer franchise in totalwar, they have heavily worked on this and try to fix it. Its now much better.
Just load up a recent total war in your steam and watch your cores.
But yeah, mostly the first core is most loaded.
The clockspeed of you cores still is important in most games, not how many cores you have.
but i'm pretty sure with al the more core cpu's from intel & amd, that it will be better in the future.
Then something is wrong. For me this game runs very smooth and I am especially surprised at the battles which I see no stuttering at all so far. Not sure what the FPS is, but I am running a 1080 Strix and have 36 Gig of Ram, with a Asus 8 core. I did notice that my firewall was holding things up earlier and gave the game permission which seemed to work like a charm. Try checking to see if there is something that is scanning or reluctantly giving permissions.
