Campaign Animation Speed
Anyone figure out the button to increase the battle animation and army movement speeds on the campaign map?

I somehow got it to work in one campaign and it was amazing. It doesn't show in the controls menu and space bar which worked in earlier total wars doesn't work. Any ideas?

It's R. I don't know when or why they changed it though.

It used to be Spacebar, but now that key is used for the visual overlay options of the campaign map, so you can turn town names on or off, toggle army commander rank display, etc.

Yeah, R works now. Thank god. After watching slow moving armies and animations for 60 hours my head is in pain.

Thanks you!

I actually want to slow it down so I can watch what's going on. I used R to slow down my own armies, but it doesn't seem to have an effect on computer armies, unless you have to push it each time you see them moving, which is like whack-a-mole.

R is on/off

So, it's a global toggle? I still thought after pushing it that the enemies were moving faster, but maybe that was my imagination.
