Hi,

For me not solution.
I have :

- Update graphic card drivers (GPU)
- Update/instal all visual c++
And same problem...
I have the problem with only Milestone games, my all other games (~200) work well.
Some of the problematic games works on an older pc.

So I think the game has compatibility issues (Windows update/ GPU models/ CPU too ?/etc...) and Milestone not updating all old games... (are not updated after a few months after their release)
And all old games are now having problems to work and this launch on fairly recent equipment.

Milestone they really have to wake up!

Yes game have strange bugs... it would just be enough for Milestone to update but they don't do it for all their games after a few months (no more updates).
So it's normal that this bug because windows and materials have some update or (change for desktop).

With windows 11there will surely be even more problems with all their old games which are more updated. :steamsalty:

They are either incompetent or they don't care and only think about the money, i do not know...

But when we see that there are no innovations in their MXGP games since the 3 and that MXGP 2 was half finished, there is reason to have serious doubts...

They just do something different to us each time, with always the same stupid problems.

Because Milestone abandons its games after ~ 6/8 months after the release.
Compatibility issue with newer hardware than the latest game updates, bug, crash, nothing is resolved.
I have the same problem with mxgp 3, mxgp pro, ride 3, super cross 1/2... (start games and crash in video intro)

I never had a solution for any of the games more old.
newer games work fine, so far...

Refund if possible, if the problem comes from the game it will never be solved (check if the problem does not come from your side before refunding).

- Visual c++ update or installed
- update driver graphics

For my part, I have tried everything and the problems encountered come from the games, compatibility problem with fairly recent hardware.
Some games work on an old pc and not on the recent where updates are made in the same way.

Hi,

Milestone never help, never fix...

If your visual C++ is up to date, you have a 10 gen and up Intel processor and it still crashes, this should work, it worked with my all Milestone game start crash for me.

SOLUTION: (shared by Gregs_JVDR)

Gregs_JVDR :

I found the solution, it works for all stage games not launching:

Press WinKey + R to open the Run window. Inside, paste: SystemPropertiesAdvanced

press enter
Click Environment Variables at the bottom
Under System Variables, tap New
Add these values to the variable:
Variable name:
OPENSSL_ia32cap
Variable value:
~0x20000000

This is a compatibility issue with Intel CPUs 10 gen and above.
Spécial Thx Gregs_JVDR.
without it my games would still not work, now its works.

For me

Hi,

I agree with you.

For ~$10 better buy Monster Energy Supercross 3 with reduction at 75% or whichever we like the most.

Of course there's no point in buying them all at full price, for example for me 2 and 3 I like it, but I don't see the point of buying the others given the little difference there is a and the high price.

Might as well buy one or two in a pinch, with a -75% reduction.

Milestone does minimal work and improves almost nothing, I don't see why players would pay for a simple upgrade 50$.

It worked, the problem is an incompatibility issue with newer graphic cards because the game works on older computers, thank you!!!
