Controller issue

I can't play the game or navigate the menu with my XInput controller.
Going from one settings submenu (Audio for example) back works by pressing the B button, but everything else does not work.

This is quite odd because the game detects my controller. It changes the button scheme accordingly. Is this a more common problem?

Yes, I tested my controller with different games and it works flawlessly there.

Hm, weird! We tested a variety of controls unfortunately we can't test all the controlers out there.

Have you tried modifing the Steam controller settings to see if it helps?

Working fine on my Xbox one controller, it's the S version though and I'm using it wired at the moment.

I've tried it 3 or 4 times now. Controller works fine in steam, settings all look good. Running the game it shows gamepad button icons, but the controller doesn't do anything. If I use the keyboard to enter a menu, the keyboard icons show up. When i hit buttons on the controller, it switches back to gamepad icons...but the buttons still don't do anything :/

I'm having issues navigating the menu as well. I'm unable to navigate down to the trails unlocked, or the challenges unlocked. Either with Xbox One controller or Mouse & Keyboard.

Gameplay is fine, but I can't get past the fist track due to this. I NEED TO PLAY MOAAARRRR!!!! THE GAME IS TOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOODDD!!!

Does the game support PS4 controllers without having to use any 3rd party controller software? And will it show PS4 button graphics?

Just gave that a go, and it does appear for support PS4 controllers out of the gate. UI popped up in the menu for it. I'm still having the same issues with the PS4 controller as I am the Xbox One controller though.

Well I'm out of ideas, and I don't have a qwerty keyboard so that is out of the question for me. Looks like a refund for now. Hope they get it fixed soon.

(Should have thought about that one earlier <.< )
Played a bit and damn... this game is pretty awesome!

If you controller is not reacting at all please check if you have other controller connected to your computer which might interfere and try disconnecting them. Its not an ideal solution but maybe a workaround until we can fix it.

You can see which controllers might be connected in the Steam Input settings:
Steam -> Settings -> Controller

Looks like this is still a problem. I'm an avid flight simmer. I have a lot of peripherals connected. I don't intend to disconnect them just to play a non-flight sim game. Here's to hoping this can be isolated and fixed before the 2 year anniversary of the thread. :D
