its A button for xbox360 controller? or i miss something?
One boss will gain practically permanent super armor at low health. Run faster than you and constantly interupt you with his last 800 hp. And he's tanky as hell. I've grinded so much and bought everything I can to stack damage and have bonus damage to bosses and it just takes like my entire mana pool 8 times over to get him low.... Then this super armor constant limit break crap.
One optional level is just you surrounded by 6 giant robots that machine gun stun lock you from full to dead in 6 seconds from the very start.
There's a boss in the campaign later that gets so insanely fast I cant even play keepaway with him and his attack animations are faster than mine so I just CANNOT fight him in melee without getting spanked. And he seems to speed up and be more aggressive the lower he gets. Making it more and more impossible to fight him.
It's honestly really lazy that the only difficulty raise outside of stats is "you cannot stop me" and "we're all going to attack constantly" in a massive dogpile.
I feel like there's still so much more of the campaign I have to go through, and if it's already at the point where they're just way faster and 100% aggressive, I cant imagine how much worse it gets later.
Like, some of the bees can just perma stun lock you.
1 is annoying to fight but you can get through it.
2 will practically stop you from moving unless you have a limit break
3 is guaranteed death if they start comboing you.
I think you HAVE to use shock immunity OR stunlock them to death from full.
This is at least counterable. Permanent super armor, instant lane change when boss detects comboing, faster than you animations at lower health is much less fun and counterable without making an entire build and using your limit breaks with the specific weapon with super armor to beat it.
And even then, you have 3 limit breaks to kill the boss at low health with their ever exponentially increasing defense and health at higher levels.
Are you supposed to need to grind this munch in these games? I loved guardian heroes but it wasnt as bad as this.
RIP game. I will never buy a game from this dev again.
I've tried contacting both dev/publisher and both seem rather ignorant about responding to peoples requests.
Honestly I'm starting to think they knew they had a bad game on there hands with it having no proper online co op mode and the various other issues. Aside from it being a proper HD port (which the original should always have been) then this game honestly hasnt got much else going for it.
Hence why they don't respond to people and ignore us YT reviewers.
The only thing i think we can praise them for is that unlike battletoads2020 they didn't lie and pay for fake reviews to scam people
Then congrats to you, but we are talking about the difficulty overall / stage difficulty / some boss etc... who are so badly balanced.
We are not talking about how to beat it or how too finish with X or X character.
2. Why is 3d characters model is still somewhat fuzzy despite improving the graphic of the background. This is suppose to be a remaster version of the game so why is this issue. Nintendo switch and PC is able to handle the demand of this game.
3. Why is there no multi-language audio? 3ds version has this.
I'm struggling to complete "Tread carefully" with huge skeleton boss. The Boss deals a lot of damage, can't beat him and everytime I manage to deal about 70% damage, but nothing more. Burst almost doesn't work against him.
I believe, i'm underleveled. Solange, 32 lvl. Regeneration+attack up+stone guard against petrify+resist up/phys resist up/undead slayer.
P.S.: playing the game on NSwitch.
I was able to beat the game quickly by spamming Zozo's beam attack which gives enemy little to no time to respond. Heck whenever I am running low on magic, I would block for many enemies' attacks can't break it. Because of this, game becomes dull quickly and only few enemies (mainly bees and bats) and few bosses are pain in neck until you grind for 30 minutes which you become OP again.
But. I had to replay previous "missions" around 3-5 times in order to be able to beat next ones to get proper level. I tried my best and wasted 2 hours to beat the last boss. It's annoying due to second phase with rings and lasers, you spend around 80-85% of your time in permanent block and have to put a lot of magic resist.
That certainly sucks. The problem that I had the most (besides the bees and bats) were two dragons due to its area non-magic attack and long range attack where I had to grind forever just to kill them. Sadly this game doesn't have any replay value in terms of story mode and no reason play the same character where you can play powerhouse boss to finish all of the side quest which was extremely easy.
