Controller won't work at all.

I recently bought a Wireless Xbox 360 Controller for the PC and it works with a lot of games I'm playing, but it won't work at all on Jade Empire. I mean the game won't respond at all to the Controller.

So I finally figured out the issue sort of. Apparently the game was reading the Switchblade screen on my Razer Keyboard instead of the controller and I can use the controller if I unplug it before I start the game, but unplugging it everytime I start the game is cumbersome and bad for the USB. Does some one know a way where I can have it read the Controller over it, or turn off the Switchblade without unplugging it?

I don't own the device that you're talking about, so I don't know if this will help, but it's what I would try before anything else if I did.

If this switchblade screen (not the keyboaard itself) shows up as a separate device in the Devices and Printers section of the windows control panel, you could disable the device from it's properties.
If it works as it does for my logitech G13, the standard keyboard functions will be unaffected and the disabled device can be re-enabled when you need it back.

Not that I've ever grown a mutant sideways thumb and wanted the analog joystick back on my G13
