Microsoft do not seem interested in fixing it alas despite me and others having reported the issues back in July when Windows 10 launched. In my opinion, the Xbox One drivers need some kind of Xbox 360 controller emulation support because these old games are never going to be fixed.
My personal advice would be to ditch the Xbox One controller for the time being and stick with the older wired Xbox 360 controller which is far more compatible and less issues with games. The controllers may look the same but Microsoft made significant changes to the way the drivers work in Window and that is why we're experiencing these issues in games that previously worked perfectly with the 360 pad.
Options>Controls>Controller
Should be
Movement L/R Left StickX
Movement U/D Left StickY
Look L/R Right StickX
Look U/D Right StickY
This worked for me. But I can't move with the pad in the "menu options" (only with the keyboard and the mouse). Any ideas? The controller settings don't have any botton for move inside the menu.
