Stuck at the water dragon (spoliers)

Has anybody encountered a bug where the conversation with the water dragon at the end of the game abruptly ends? I can't choose to save the dragon or doom the dragon. Neither can I go fight Sun Li. I have searched online, and I find no reference to this bug anywhere. The bug occurs right after the followers join the hero. The water dragon talks about how Sun Li really planned the whole thing OR the dragon talks about the wound to her body making the Jade Empire green while another land goes thirsty. Then the conversation ends, and I am stuck. If anybody has encountered this bug, let me know. Thanks.

The same exact thing happened to me at the same exact spot. Hoping for a solution some day.

I'm suffering from the same bug, so close to the end of the game too. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I think your best hope is to save often in differnet slots. When one of those bugs triggers your only real option is to reload from far enough back that there is no issue. It seems that whatever goes wrong is saved to a save game.

I hate necroing a thread, but I'm stuck at the same place. The conversation ends too early and breaks the game. I went back a couple of hours and still hit the same bug. I love the game, but I can't keep going back without knowing where the bug is or how to avoid it. I just can't go back ten plus hours one the chance I might not hit the bug.

I can't find anything online about this bug. I vaguely remember hitting it before, but I can't remember what I did to get around this, or even if I got around it at all.

I've encountered the same bug.
Is there any chance, someone could provide the save file right after this cursed dialog.
Perhaps, with SaveEditor, I could alter your character to match mine and finish the game. Thanks in advance.
