How to get this game to work in Windows 10

1.)Goto the steam folder and COPY the Steam.dll icon into the Jade Empire folder. If you don't know how to find the Jade empire folder... Right Click it in your steam library and click "Show Local Files". Then Paste it there.

2.)Find the "JadeEmpireLauncher.exe" and rename it to anything else... aka "JadeEmpireother.exe".

3.)Find the "JadeEmpire.exe" and rename that one to "JadeEmpireLauncher.exe"

4.)Done! You can return to your Steam Library and open the game through your Steam Library!

Simply put get the game on GOG... No issues whatso ever. I cannot even play my steam version anymore using any fixes so I ended up getting it on gog and straight out the box everything functions great and im halfway through the game.

Steam is trash especially for older games... So im not sure why all the fanatics praising steam over epic and other distribution platforms.. I personally think steam is garbage.

I also still cant get freespace 2, freedom force, and several others to work on steam.
