Soundtrack Quality: CE vs. Digital one

Hey there, just a small question. Is the soundtrack from the CD within the CE, the same quality like the digital one? I just ask because a CD is quite small an i remember some other soundtracks from other games where like 1,1GB as FLAC with the same number of titles.

I think audio CDs are generally lower bit rate/quality than FLACs files. I could be wrong.

That's my thinking also. Would be nice to get a code for the digital soundtrack if it better quality

Which version of the game does the CE grant you on Steam (standard or deluxe)? Assuming it's deluxe there should be a folder with the soundtrack.

I love the soundtrack for this so much.

it depends what you put in cds cd ca ncontain flac too.

I only got the mp3 version, would love to know if its possible to get the FLAC version since flac provides notable difference in quality. For Darksiders 3 I got 3 versions of the OST: mp3, WAV and Flac.

Where did you get FLAC?

It was in the installation folder in my Steam library for Darksiders 3. If you have default installation for Steam, should be here

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Darksiders 3\Digital Extras\Soundtrack

In there, there are 3 folders: MP3, WAV and Flac.

I got the CE and there was a CD with the soundtrack. The game was shipped via a Steam Key but thats "only" a normal Version key.

And the CD cannot hold both - capacity vise. So if someone from Airship reads this.

That's kind of puddy that the CE key only gives a standard edition. Worst case scenario though, you can upgrade to deluxe for ~$8. It'll probably be even less for the Christmas sale too.
