The "Nephilim" angels firing fire arrows in Arena are stupid
They're retardedly imbalanced, in the sense that their arrows knock you up in the air and you kind of can't really move while knocked up (perhaps getting down to the ground with a dodge?), and while you're knocked up, all the other fire arrows from other angels hit you for massive damage all the same time.

It's like a perpetual cycle that keeps you in the air with near-impossible to avoid incoming damage.

Yes, you can complete Arenas with them, but it's still stupid as hell.

Acutally my first try of infinite arena is level 111~. I stop because it take to much time at this point, and i was tired, but it was pretty easy.

Something unbalanced for me and more urgent :
War is really weak compare to Strife.

Try strife with electric ammo. Do normal shot, and when you are empowered, use electric ammo Every 3 level its Boss time : use Anarchy skill to kill them all. Its not that hard.

With War it is not impossible (you can use some skill to leech life, take you'r time to rush in and out of fight with some charge) , but you need skill and you will fail soon or later. Strife is just brainless, and way more efficient.

I think this is the point of archers in any game...you know.... you have to target them first or suffer. Considering the amount of movement you have in this game and low low HP these guys have, they are far from a problem my dude. Wait till you get to the Shamans....then I will on board with your rage.

Absolutely agree. I played co-op and only with War and its just night and day difference. The sad thing is Strife's abilities apart from his clones are really subpar...but just the amount of AOE from his ammo's that can proc on-hit statuses is ridiculous and unbalanced...while War needs to get of his heavy attack combo to do real dmg, which is near impossible on apocalyptic difficulty.

I'm actually enjoying War a lot. With the Dreadwalker/Suffering Creatures Core and +1.2 seconds of Parry Window, I'm basically immortal. I can parry without even timing and the riposte does decent damage (Apocaliptyc). I have all the Blade Geyser Creature Core (which is good for Strife too) and whenever I take damage, I immediately use a Potion to restore my Wrath. With the Life Steal from Belial CC and Vampiric, I have infinite Potions basically, as long as I am at full health. Strife does more damage of course, but that's the point I guess. Btw, I'm playing solo, I still need to test both in Coop.

No its not the point, IMO at least. He should be more about AOE and crowd control...but if you just equip what i said you can just hold the fire button and he kills EVERYTHING in sight 100 times faster then war can. Yes, war is tanky, but he needs to stay in the middle of things and in co-op its worse because you can't even see whats going on so you just sit there blocking. It's just poor balance, but i mean its a singleplayer game so...oh well.

Try war with thunder and spam air spin together with animation canceling via guard. Helps War alot and does decent dmg + meters are going up very fast.
IMO his monster form needs a buff cause its weak :(

I'm using Strife with the same setup (I just switch to the Beam Shot for single targets) and I agree on the damage part. I respect your opinion, but Strife is made for damage (in my opinion obv) while War for Tanking/Single target. He has AoE damage too (and control, to a degree), I just love both. If the problem resides in Coop, then I hope they can adjust it (if not with a buff, atleast the visual cluster you are experiencing). As a long time Darksiders fan, I can say that this game is really well made (not perfect, but nothing is perfect). Now we just need Fury and Death and I can die happy xD Thanks Eins for sharing your opinion with me :)

Oh don't worry I LOVE the game. It's my game of the year TBH... just pointing out my frustrations as you know, no game is perfect...sadly (and maybe because I'm a War fanboy lol XD).
Also 4 player co-op with all horsemen? The dream!
Have a good one bro!

Yeah...it looks menacing and does very little lol... but they just focused this game on strife i guess...makes sense since he's the "new" horseman.

Game of the Year for me too! And I'm a War fanboy too xD (also Death, Fury and Strife xD). Yeah, maybe "Darksiders Fanboy" is a better description. I'm probably one of the few who actually LOVED (not enjoyed, literally loved) DkS 3. I'm re-playing DkS 2 (and will also do the same with the first) right now, since I've played both on the Xbox360 back in the days. Sorry for the Off Topic, I'll stop now.
Wish you all a good weekend.

Please give war 360 degree block and that'd fix most of his issue. Having multiple enemies gang up on you constantly while making your block and parry irrelevant is infuriating. Parry doesnt stun enemy long enough and i had plenty that hit me while i was counter attacking.

360 degree AOE parry wont help him, you cant just sit in the middle and parry... How are you gonna kill stuff like that?

His damage is insane but he needs something to help him with staggers because you cant get your hard hitting combos off. That and perhaps a creature core that will make Blade Geyser (his 1st wrath ability) an AOE pull rather than knocking them away from him.Or any kind of solution that will enable him to get multiple enemies closer to him and/or shorter combos that will deal maximum damage.

Thats for War, as for general gameplay, well I think the game doesnt offer a viable wrath build. I've tried everything and its not nearly as efficient as stacking attack power (along with the cores that make things explode and the shadow clone ones). War would be even more suited for this build considering his Deathtouch enhancement, but even though the potential is there you cant use it because of how much he gets staggered and lacks reach.

They could just make a monster core that makes him immune to stagger. There's a core that makes stone skin give you something like that, but it doesn't work all the time (maybe a bug). But he needs one where its like "after doing a parry or whatever be immune to knockback for 10-15 seconds".

Yes, 100% yes. Something like that is much needed for War (that's my only problem with him). A stagger immunity would be the final piece, for me atleast.

It allows you to actually dps with abit of skill. And successful parry should grant a few more immunity frames so you wont get chain locked by multiple attacks.
