Abandoned game?

Is this game abandoned/dead? The last post on these forums was what, 8 months ago? The last time the developer posted was what, 11 months ago? There's game-breaking bugs that the developer doesn't bother to fix as well. So is this game dead/abandoned and should I just fight with Steam for a refund of my $10 since there's a good chance I'll have to make a new file over and over due to the general store bug?

yeah it seems pretty abandoned. I enjoyed it but had such performance issues that I think the game was long from finished. I've run games that should be way more intensive on my hardware than this but it never ran smoothly... not sure if it was unoptimized or something but I never stopped having problems. Fun for what it is, but it might be worth tryna get a refund

I've never had performance issues, the only problem I've run into is the game-breaking general store bug I mentioned, which apparently has been a thing since release and was never fixed.
