Screamer core?

I am on a part f the game where I need to get a screamer core and I have done the first ruin dungeon over 4 times and nothing has dropped. How or where do I excatly get a screamer core because I am very confused? thanks!!

Screamer cores are an item drop off the Screamer, which can be found in boss rooms (red icon rooms) in Canopus, Shaula, and Pollux. Beating a Screamer doesn't guarantee a core drop, and there isn't a guarantee you'll even get a Screamer as a boss over several dungeon attempts.

While you can't affect whether a Screamer spawns as a boss, you definitely can boost your chances of getting a core drop off a Screamer. You want to equip bangles which increase drop luck and/or drop quantity on all three of your party members (I found that drop quantity +3 or +4 on equipped bangles was especially useful in getting drops I wanted in dungeons). Increasing your luck stat using level up points will also help with getting item drops more often (while also boosting crit attack/evasion). If you have access to the Steel Wind spell you can also use that to force an item drop off the boss up to a few times before killing it.
