Repairs

I seem to remember a mention that repairing weapons/armor was on the menu, but I am hoping to see this sooner than later. I do think that parts to repair should come from other weapons (weapon parts) armor (metal scraps?) or something to make the other items you find have additional depth of need. There are some items that I wan to use more, but hold off due to not being able to repair. Also, is there a way to make a plate carrier vest? I end up with many plates and no vests to put them in on some runs.

Side note: the new animations are nice. They may be a subtle change but it really helps smooth out the game play experience for me.
