Finally 100% the game, loved it. but now i wonder just how much time went into making this game and it's 160 (161 if you count the final bonus) puzzles.

Playing through the challenge levels and have not settled on an optimal method to mark the field. What are some techniques you guys use? Would be nice if these notes didn't erase automatically when the game is closed. Regarding stage A1: Why doesn't the lower parallelogram shape (near the center) consider one of the 45 degree corner mines adjacent? I'm just revisiting the game after not playing for years, but cannot recall any other stage where a mine borders in this manner and isn't factored in....
