I'm not sure if I am getting this game right...

From what I have been playing now (the levels on the three tombs) the mechanics of the game seem interesting but the game works strangely...
Namely because it allows me to play completely half-assed, even when there is six or eight mirrors on the level I can do the reflection via just one and progress...so I get just one jar but since it seems the progress on the levels is not saved (outside opening of new tombs and chapters), it doesn't really make that much of a difference whether I do it perfectly or with minimum effort.

So, a cool toy but not much of a game? Or is there a glitch somewhere?
