Under the floor in starting area

I am in an Oculus Rift-S.

I calibrated my height and played for about 30 minutes before closing the game on my first playthrough. I had 0 issues. I went back later that night to see my progress apparently was not saved. I was back in the tutorial room, except I was under the floor. I could only see the VR world if I stepped on my tiptoes. My "hands" were floating in the air and I got 0 response from any button input. The only way to move was to use my PHYSICAL play space. The game is unplayable for me at the moment.



What I've tried so far: Reset guardian within the Virtual Desktop and from the actual desktop. Launching through SteamVR and OculusVR. Restarting my computer and repeating the previous steps. Unplugging and replugging my headset. Nothing works.

Without the ability to recalibrate my height within the game I am unable to resolve the issue. I even tried standing on a step ladder to make half of my body get above the floor level and I still found I have 0 controller response. What gives?

I am genuinely hoping there is a simple fix I'm just not seeing. The game appears to be very polished and I want to play it, but I cannot progress in my current state.

I was able to resolve the issue by launching the app via Steam VR, closing it in the desktop, and relaunching using Oculus App. SOMEHOW the software decided to not play nicely and the game was broken for a time for me. The issue appears to be resolved now, but I am not 100% certain it will not appear again.

Thank you for letting us know. Yes, sometimes it seems that SteamVR and Oculus conflict.
