We're open to suggestions; there is matchmaking based on elo but there's usually 30 - 60 people playing which isn't a huge amount for the matchmaker to pick from

A more in-depth tutorial is a good idea. AI would be even better, maybe that's something we can do for Slapshot 2 we're working on.
